Letter to ACMA
I would like to draw your attention to a premium services scam affecting my Vodafone mobile phone account. Voda have refunded the improper charges to me but refuse to give me any details that would enable me to trace how it happened -- and the TIO seem to think that the refund closes the matter.
I am a heavily-linked blogger and I would like to alert my readers to what went on so that they can take steps to protect themselves. I am also concerned that nobody at the TIO or Voda seems interested in closing off the scam.
The TIO complaint reference is 07/051984. Please get someone senior at TIO to reopen the matter and please require of Voda that they reveal to me the full details of what happened to my account.
I am pretty sure there is a coverup going on.
